A Grass that Collects and Transports Water Vapor

A stiff grass with a horse-shoe-like shape and wax platelets have hydrophobic properties. Approximately 4-5 L of water is collected per fog event. The ridges and grooves provide a downslide of drops. Oval prickle hairs aid in the collection. Drops run down the leaves to the base of the plant, where the root system absorbs them.
